Huge thanks to Kip Ioane, head coach of the Willamette Men’s Basketball program, for taking time to chat with New Leader Workshop.

Kip is putting massive action into reshaping how college athletes view the concept of masculinity. After a series of harmful incidents on campus at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, Kip felt lucky that his players weren’t involved. But he didn’t want to stop there. He decided that he wanted to do more to ensure that his players understood what it meant to be stand up citizens in the community.

On today’s episode Kip talks about his Leader’s of Men program and why it is an important tool for university sport’s programs to be aware of.
